Designer: Bruno Munari Poster 1
The Italian designer Bruno Munari interested me the most out of other listed designers because of his art style. After finding out more about him, I grew more intrigued of his work and backstory.
To the left is my first poster design. I wanted a step-like design to try to see how the information and pictures of the designer would look. I feel like it is too boring and lacking freedom of eye movement though.
To the right is my second poster design for the designer Bruno Munari. I enjoy this poster design more than the first because there is more movement involved with the text and images. There is also a resting area for your eyes in the middle which is always nice and a must need when creating a graphic. I plan to use this design but will be making more changes to create a better look for it.

Think&Make - Scavenger Hunt Photos
Here is our group member Mitch connecting to the internet on a Mac desktop in the Art & Design building. We know we will be using these labs a lot this semester to work in our computer design programs and research any materials we will be using for projects.
To the left we have a fun group photo of our members relaxing on one of the couches in the library, lounge area of the building. From left to right: Kelsie, Mitch, Josie, and Aryn.
We have one of the big printers to the right located in our Printing Room here in the Design building. We will most likely be visiting this room quite a lot this semester to print out any of our materials and photos we will need to use during our projects!
Another fun group photo to the left of us standing outside the doors of the Marvin Shop. From left to right: Kelsie, Mitch, Aryn, and Josie.
A dark photo of the PC computer lab to the left. The light was not our friend at that time, but we were able to still appreciate all the technology we are provided with by the Design Program!
To the left is a photo of a sketched drawing a famous artist created. These amazing books are located in the Spencer Museum of Art in the library on the first floor. I know I'll be there many times to get inspiration and learn from past artists!
Here we have Josie smiling big in the art supply shop. We will all be here many times throughout our years at KU because every artist has to have their art supplies!
To the right is a photo of the doors of the Common Shop. This shop will be very useful to us design students when we need to spray our pieces of art work. Always remember to wear closed toed shoes and goggles when heading to and in this area though!
